Nothing excites us at TREAT as much as the sight of doctors doing creative work outside their main domain, which informs and enriches their day jobs as well.

Rakesh Ramesh, surgical oncologist and multimedia artist brings a unique sensibility to his art. A keen eye makes even his abstracts stand out with quirky details. Life and life forms populate his work- an undercurrent of positivity is omnipresent in his art.

A prolific painter, Rakesh has explored different milieu, landscapes and life forms. Keeping with these digital times, his recent foray into art has been on his I-pad. In this issue, we bring you a set where his inspiration is his childhood and College days in some of the most picturesque parts of Gods own country. With each piece, we include his small description which make these images all the more vivid.
